Cygnaeus Gallery
Cygnaeus Gallery (Kalliolinnantie 8, Helsinki) – this museum, housed in a cottage that faces the harbor, was once the summer home of Finnish poet & historian Fredrik Cygnaeus (1807-1881). Cygnaeus donated his cottage and various artworks he collected over the years to the Finnish public. Today, it displays not only those pieces of art, but also that of other Finnish painters, sculptors and folk artists. Admission: €6.50 (general), €5.00 (discount – seniors, students), €5.00 (children 7-17 years). Hours: 11 am – 5 pm (May – August).
